Medicina provide a washout set specifically designed to washout Caecostomy or ACE tracts. The catheter washout set (MAS02) connects to the catheter when washing out the tract. The Medicina washout sets are made up of a 1.5 litre top fill bag which can be suspended to allow gravity washout to take place. The flow rate can be controlled with a roller clamp. Each set has a side port for the administration of additives. The bags should last for up to 30 days depending on the type of washout solution.
